Duties & Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Air Operations Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
·         Produce aircraft performance, carrier assessment and contract completion reports.
·         Raise requisitions, update aircrew databases and ensure provision of accommodation and meals for aircrew;
·         Follow up and update Aircraft use reports and monitor aircraft airworthiness certificates and other documents;
·         Assist in check-in and check-out of aircrew coming in and out of the mission;
·         Produce Aviation budget estimates and reports;
·         Follow up cost estimates for flights and assist in the cost recovery for support flights;
·         Coordinate safe parking of aircraft with the key players;
·         Carry out refueling of aircraft in accordance with the relevant procedures;
·         Supervise ground handlers to ensure safety and on time departures;
·         Ensure safety of passengers and efficient ramp operations at all times;
·         Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
·         High School diploma or equivalent vocational certificate in Business Admin, Finance or other related fields. Additional training in aviation related fields is desirable.
Work Experience
·         At least five (5) years of relevant experience in administration, finance or management
Languages
·         Command of the English language is required. Ability to write logical and well-structured reports would be required. The knowledge of a second UN language is an advantage.
